Elder Candidates & Upcoming Congregational Meeting

Dear Trinity Grace family and friends,

Called Congregational Meeting Sunday, March 29th, 2026, 11:30am.

The elders are excited to announce that two nominated men for the office of elder, Dan Hermann and Austin Foley, are now being recommended to you to serve as elders with Trinity Grace. As elders we have seen how these men have demonstrated the character of an elder along with the necessary Bible knowledge and theological alignment with the PCA. Having passed their examinations, their names will be put to a vote on Sunday, March 29th, 2026 at a congregational meeting following the worship service. Now is the time for the membership to pray, confer with one another, and look to the Lord to guide you and Trinity Grace.

On behalf of the elders,

Pastor Todd Capen
Interim

Elder Candidates:

Dan Hermann
Dan grew up in the church and has been a member of PCA churches for the last 20 years and has served in leadership positions in his last two churches. He has been married to his wife Julia (whom he met at one of those churches!) for 17 years and they have two children, Lydia and Thomas.

He has worked in the software and high tech field for 25 years. At Trinity Grace, he is a neighborhood group leader and serves on the finance committee, pastoral search committee and the AV setup team.

Austin Folley
Austin has been married to his wife, Angie, for 17 years, and together they are raising their three children—Elaina, Nora, and Andrew. He has been an active member of the PCA for more than 20 years and has been attending Trinity Grace PCA since 2019.

Austin is employed as an emergency medicine physician and previously served as a physician in the United States Army from 2008 to 2019.

He is grateful for the ways the Lord has shaped his faith through family, church, and service, and he desires to continue serving the body of Christ with humility and faithfulness.
