TGC Kids COORDINATOR - Missy watts

Missy is one of the few that can say she was born in Wyoming - but she got to Texas as soon as she could. She grew up north of Houston and moved to San Antonio to attend Trinity University. She met her husband, Peter, the first few weeks of college but didn't start dating until after college. Although her degree is in history with an eye toward teaching, she decided to work in the non profit world. She has worked with a number of non profit groups and schools all over San Antonio. Peter is a librarian for the City of San Antonio.

For the past 12 years, she has primarily been a stay at home mom to her four children: Aaron (born 2006), Isaac (born 2009), Daniel (born 2012) and Tessa (born 2014). Until this past school year she was homeschooling, but now the three boys are in school and the youngest is soaking up mommy time! She has taught in a variety of settings (after school, summer camp, church and school) and methods (Montessori, classical, Bible study, etc.). Her passion has always been children and education.

As a family we enjoy movies, board games, reading stories aloud and we love Jason's Deli.
